Job Description and Responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst / Product Owner at LotusFlare, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into well-defined requirements while ensuring delivered solutions meet user expectations. You'll work closely with product management, engineering, and design teams to clarify requirements, prioritize features, and support successful product delivery.

Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Documentation (40%)

  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements
  • Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Facilitate requirement gathering workshops with stakeholders
  • Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with business goals
  • Maintain requirement traceability and documentation

Product Backlog Management (25%)

  • Own and refine the product backlog for your assigned area
  • Prioritize requirements based on business value and technical constraints
  • Break down complex features into manageable user stories
  • Support sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions
  • Work with stakeholders to manage scope and expectations

Process Documentation & Improvement (15%)

  • Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Create and maintain process flows, wireframes, and user journey maps
  • Validate solutions against requirements through testing and data analysis
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure test cases align with acceptance criteria
  • Participate in user acceptance testing

Cross-functional Collaboration (20%)

  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and development teams
  • Collaborate with UX teams to ensure designs meet business requirements
  • Partner with product managers to align features with product strategy
  • Support the development team during implementation
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in technology
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and wireframes
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of telecommunications industry a plus
  • CSPO, CBAP, or similar certifications preferred
