Technical Product Manager - Billing

Job Description

Product Leadership: Define and implement the product roadmap for the LotusFlare Billing System, acting as a product and industry expert in one of the telecommunications billing, charging, product catalog, order management domains

Feature Development: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to drive the creation and launch of innovative product features and functionalities for Telecom operators. Ability to identify product features vs project customizations from incoming requirements.

Requirements Management: Translate diverse stakeholder input into clear product requirements that deliver customer value.

Work breakdown structure: ability to break down a design or project into smaller user stories or tasks.

Customer-Centric Approach: Integrate user research, market trends, and competitive analysis into product strategy to enhance customer satisfaction and growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with solution architects, sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver and deploy the billing system globally.

Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular product documentation and demonstrations to internal and external audiences.

Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key metrics to measure product success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in product management in software development, software solution architecture, or software development within an enterprise software company or a Telecom Operator.
• 3+ years of previous experience in telecom OSS/BSS especially in one of the billing, charging, product catalog management, or order management domains
• Experience with micro services based, cloud native or SaaS based software architecture design and/or development
• Knowledge on MACH standards
• Strong knowledge of REST API standards
• Working knowledge of UML, BPMN standards, and information models.
• Able to discuss and work closely with engineers on high-level technical design and architecture.
• 3+ years of working in an Enterprise software company is preferred.
• Experience delivering business-critical, scalable server platforms.
• Experience with cloud computing (AWS preferred) and containerization (e.g. Kubernetes)
• Knowledge on TM Forum Open APIs, eTOM, SID. Working experience with these standards or certification is preferred
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Able to effectively synthesize disparate quantitative and qualitative data sets to quickly make data-driven decisions.
• Basic knowledge of AI/ML technologies, solutions, and AI empowered software development
