Technical Product Manager - Workflow Engine

Job Description and Responsibilities:
Product Leadership: Define and drive the product roadmap for the LotusFlare Orchestration Engine, serving as the product and industry expert for process design and orchestration in telecom BSS domain (telecom domain knowledge is not needed)
Workflow Engine Development: Collaborate with engineering teams to design and launch scalable, reliable, and efficient workflow engine features that enable seamless interaction across LotusFlare software modules.
Requirements Management: Gather input from internal stakeholders and customers to define clear product requirements focused on performance, extensibility, and operational efficiency.
Work breakdown structure: ability to break down a design or project into smaller user stories or tasks.
System Thinking: Apply a systems approach to enhance end-to-end process orchestration, ensuring modularity, observability, and maintainability of workflows.
Customer-Centric Approach: Use insights from telecom operators and enterprise customers to prioritize impactful improvements and deliver a world-class orchestration experience.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with architecture, product, engineering, and deployment teams to align the orchestration engine with broader BSS capabilities.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide ongoing documentation, product demos, and technical presentations for both internal teams and external partners.
Performance Tracking: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the orchestration engine meets scalability, latency, and reliability goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management in software development, software solution architecture, or software engineering.
- 3+ years of experience working on workflow or orchestration engine products (e.g., Camunda, Temporal, Netflix Conductor, Zeebe, etc.).
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, enterprise application architecture patterns, and enterprise integration patterns
- Knowledge on MACH standards
- Strong knowledge of SOAP and REST API standards
- Working knowledge of UML, BPMN, DMN standards, and information models.
- Basic knowledge of fallout management, auto correcting fallout flow design and implementation.
- Strong experience with scalable, distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Familiarity with telecom BSS or enterprise-grade workflow engines is preferred.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes) and modern CI/CD practices.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a knack for simplifying complex systems.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and balance technical constraints with business needs.
- Basic knowledge of AI/ML technologies, solutions, and AI empowered software development
